The finish you choose for your engineered wood flooring can depend on a number of factors, and we do provide unfinished flooring if you prefer to finish the job yourself. However, with such a wide range of beautiful finishes to choose from, we feel confident that you'll find exactly the look you require.

We offer two distinct finishes for our flooring - lacquered and oiled. A lacquered finish is ideal if you prefer your floors to have a sheen, from subtle to high gloss. This finish is exceptionally hard-wearing and any spills will simply wipe off with a cloth, making this type of finish ideal for a bathroom or kitchen. 

Unlike lacquer, oil penetrates deeply into the wood to nourish and protect, and this is the perfect finish for you if you prefer a natural, matte finish. Another advantage is that oil encourages the natural colour of the wood to become deeper and richer as it ages. 

If your floor will be exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time, we recommend a UV protective finish, which acts like a sunscreen for your floor and helps to prevent it fading.
